I’m all about capturing the magic of the great outdoors. But you know what’s funny?
I almost didn’t start this journey.
Let me take you back a bit to explain.
Back in the Netherlands, 16 years old me had her heart set on becoming a graphic designer. I could see myself crafting visuals that would leave people in awe. But life threw me a curveball. I got rejected by the school. It stung, I won’t lie. But I’m a firm believer that creativity always finds its way.
So, I changed course. Photography interested me, so I decided to give it a shot and start a photography education.
Guess what, it was like it was meant to be. Photography captivated me beyond my wildest dreams!
After graduating in 2012, I took the plunge into freelancing, working across various photography niches.
From the fashion industry to cozy family portraits and even weddings and interiors. But honestly, it all felt a bit off, and I was almost ready to focus on something new completely.
Then something amazing happened. While traveling through Scotland I stumbled upon the raw beauty of nature photography and that reignited my flame. I started with landscapes but soon, I wanted more. I began weaving stories into my frames, adding models and a touch of storytelling to create captivating visuals. A perfect blend of all my previous photography skills came together in this amazing way of capturing adventure.

As a lover for adventure, I’m traveling through Scandinavia, and capturing its incredible stories. But, it’s not all about me and my adventures.
I’m on a mission to help fellow outdoor enthusiasts and entrepreneurs thrive in their businesses.
I’ve shared my photography business know-how and mentored other photographers, worked together on photography projects with outdoor brands all while continually taking my own passion for the great outdoors to the next level.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me immersed in the wild. Camping, hiking, and losing myself in the beauty of mountains. Oh, and don’t get me started on waterfalls!
One of my all-time favorite quotes is by Alexander Pope: “The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.” So, let’s keep taking chances, shall we?
